This beautiful R.S. Prussia fernier stands 3.5" high by 7"  in diameter.  Reinhold Schlegelmilch is the R.S. in R.S. Prussia, and it was made in Suhl, Prussia, now Germany.  We believe this fernier dates to c1900.  It has a very rich decoration with what appear to be wild Roses.  There are fancy 'V' insets at the rim, which have embossed blossom accents, with fine gold blossom outlines, and the feet are gilded.  It has a very ornate presentation.  It is well marked, with an authentic R.S. Prussia red stamp of the period.  This fernier is in excellent condition, with some tiny flecks/nicks at the rim, and just minimal wear from handling over the years.
