This rare Fulper boudoir lamp stands a tall 12" high by 7.75" across by 7" in diameter, a majestic Art Deco beauty. It is one of a number of lamp designs by the Fulper Pottery, from their porcelaine line from the late 1920s, early 1930s. It depicts a young lady, with brown hair, in a gorgeous orchid and white dress, with gorgeous blossom garland accents. This boudoir lamp is a 2-part lamp, in which the dress portion clamps onto a light bulb, which is held in place by her legs/feet. She is standing on a meadow-like platform base. Her dress spreads dramatically, giving her a sizable footprint. Her shoes match her dress and purse, very sweet! She is glazed in matte lavender (called 'orchid' by the Fulper Pottery), shading light and dark, and white, with gorgeous accents. Her face presents as very 'demure', hence her name, she is really beautiful! This rare porcelaine lamp is marked with the impressed Fulper racetrack mark, along with Martin Stangl's cipher, and its shape number '321', and she is guaranteed to be vintage Fulper porcelaine. This beauty is in factory mint condition, no apologies. The lamp hardware is in place, and she is in fine working order. This rare boudoir lamp makes an absolutely stunning presentation! If you collect Fulper porcelaine lamps, you just found a keeper!
