This Fulper vase stands a tall 9.5" high by 9.5" across by 8" in diameter. It has a large and wonderful full-bodied stepped form with large bold handles at the collar, in a nice Art Deco presentation. This vase is glazed in a rich blue/green subtly drizzled glaze combination. It is finished to a flat matte sheen. This vase is marked on the base, and according to new research by John Kornacki, whose article was recently published in the Journal of the American Art Pottery Association, this vase dates to 1929-1934. This enlightening article about Fulper's marking system is a primer for collectors and dealers alike. Visit www.aapa.info for information about joining the AAPA. This handsome vase is in factory mint condition, with the usual glaze nuances, common to Fulper pots, including a small no harm glaze skip on the body, which we show in the photos. There are pinholes and minor, no harm scuffs on the outer edges of the handles. This vessel makes a handsome Art Deco presentation!
