This Fulper porcelaine perfume lamp stands 7.5" high by 4" across by 3.25" wide. It is one of a number of designs by the Fulper Pottery, a porcelain novelty line piece. It depicts 'Madame Pompadour', a member of the French court, and the mistress to Louis XV, and she's a regal beauty! She has jet black hair, in a rose and orchid decorated ivory gown, with a matching head piece, and bow accents, in a very majestic pose. Her face is beautiful! She is holding a fan and her gown is set on a rose base. This lamp is unmarked, shape number 316. This beauty is guaranteed to be vintage Fulper. She is in factory mint condition, with a no harm clay separation in the under base as shown in the photos. This in no way detracts from this 'Madame Pompadour' perfume lamp. She still lights and is in fine working order. She makes a majestic and elegant presentation!
