This Fulper powderbox cover hails from an era when powderpuffs and powderboxes were all the rage. If you were around during the 30s-60s, you probably recall fancy powder puffs. They were on nearly every woman's dressing table. This powderbox cover stands 6.75" high by 4" in diameter. It is one of a number of designs by the Fulper Pottery, a 'porcelaine' novelty line piece. It was designed to cover a powderbox, no base, just a simple cover, done in fabulous Art Deco style. This cover is in the form of a graceful young lady, with black hair. She is decorated in a yellow dress with white, pink and green accents, in an Art Deco style of dress. She is wearing a simple green pillbox hat and is holding a fresh floral bouquet. The colors are rich and vibrant. This lovely cover is finished to a mix of satin matte and gloss accents in the colors. The lady's face is really beautiful, signature Art Deco in design, and very sweet! This powderjar cover is unmarked, but it is guaranteed to be vintage Fulper, from their 'Porcelaine' line. She is in original factory condition, no apologies. She makes a pretty, pretty Art Deco presentation!
