This Fulper urn/vase stands 6.5" high by 8" in diameter. It has a full-bodied ball form, with three looped handles at the collar, shape number 564. It is glazed in a handsome deep mahogany over a yellow flambe glaze, a very nice glaze combination. The mahogany glaze has a crackled stain glass effect. This vessel is interestingly marked with an inkstamp racetrack over a raised racetrack mark, so doubly-marked and ranging anywhere from 1917-1934, or 1917-1923, depending on the mark you use...I suppose the former because it is the latest dated mark. I imagine that happened a lot. It is in original factory condition, with the usual glaze nuances, common to Fulper pots of the period including glaze splinters at the base edge from factory grinding. This handsome ball urn/vase, with a killer glaze, makes a great Arts & Crafts presentation!
