This very impressive and rather scarce Fulper vase stands a mighty 16" high by 6" in diameter. It has a full-bodied and pedestaled form, shape number 491, with the body of the pot balanced over a four-footed base pedestal. This vase is glazed in a rich, lush deep blue and green flambe/matte combination glaze with touches of lavender, and it is glazed in a matte brown over the footed base.  The flambe glazes are very fluid and randomly flow to cover parts of the base platform and feet It is marked on the interior foot as shown with the square ink stamp dating this pot to c1909-1917.  We guarantee this vase to be vintage original Fulper Pottery.  It is in excellent condition, with the usual glaze nuances common to Fulper pots and a very good restoration to chips/nicks/glaze splinters on the foot portion. The glazes covered the pedestaled feet, which were leveled by grinding at the factory.  This vessel, with an awesome glaze and a great form, makes a very handsome presentation!
