This impressive Fulper vase stands a monumental 15.75" high by 5" in diameter. It has a handsome, slender form, in a simple Arts & Crafts presentation. This vase, shape number 601, is glazed in a stunning cucumber green crystalline glaze, with wonderful character. It is marked, dating it to c1917-1927. This handsome vase is in very stable condition, with a plugged drill hole in the center base. The drill hole was pretty clean on the base, confined mostly to the center of its raised racetrack mark. There is some clay fill on the interior, which is simply a plug. It likely has spent much of its life as a lamp, a common thing for a large Fulper pot in the day. It has the usual glaze nuances common to Fulper pots, with a killer glaze crystallization as can be seen in the photos. This pot is really beautiful and it makes an awesome Arts & Crafts presentation!
