This impressive and hard-to-find Fulper vase stands a very tall 14” high by 9” across the handles by 7" in diameter. It has a handsome full-bodied Arts & Crafts form with long squared handles dominating its presentation. It is glazed in a wonderful yellow/blue flambe crystalline glaze combination, which flows randomly from tip to toe. It is finished to a brilliant high gloss. It weighs in at 8 pounds, 8 ounces, a heavy, solid pot. This vessel is marked with an incised Fulper mark, dating it to c1917-1923. This is shape #562, well documented in the references, and guaranteed to be vintage Fulper Pottery. This handsome vase is in excellent presentable condition, with a very good restoration to the handles. We suspect that both handles have had some restoration, but since we did not commission the work, we do not know the extent of the repair. The vase presents quite handsomely. It has the usual glaze nuances common to Fulper pots, including some pinholes and pops in the glaze.
