This lovely vase stands 10.25" high by 5.25" in diameter. It is a porcelain vessel with a lush sang de boeuf glaze, which is stunning. We believe this is a Chinese Import vase, made to mimic objects from the Qing Dynasty of the mid to late 1800s, but we suspect it was made in the 20th century, not the 19th century. The glaze is awesome, and overall the vase has a great visual appeal. The base is unmarked, and looks like the center was ground down, perhaps for excess glaze, or perhaps as a sort of pontil to convert to a lamp, we're not sure. The interior base is glazed over, so it was not a conversion. This vase is in original condition, no damage or restoration.
